The Wells of Love with Kit values the trust of our listeners, visitors, and community. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, protected, and shared when you visit The Wells of Love website, contact us, or voluntarily submit content through features such as Love Notes at The Wells and Give Them Their Flowers.

The Wells of Love with Kit is operated in connection with DK2L Media LLC.

2. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you interact with The Wells, we may receive information such as your name, first name, initials, email address, written submission, sharing preferences, identification preference, and other information you voluntarily provide.

You may also choose to submit certain content anonymously when that option is provided.

Please do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical records, or other information that is unnecessary for participating in The Wells.

3. Listener Submissions

The Wells provides opportunities for listeners to voluntarily share stories, questions, reflections, experiences, acknowledgments, and other content.

This currently includes Love Notes at The Wells and may include Give Them Their Flowers and other future listener-participation features.

You retain ownership of the original content you submit.

By submitting content and selecting one or more sharing permissions, you give The Wells of Love with Kit permission to use, reproduce, read, present, edit, publish, or distribute that submission only in the ways you have authorized, subject to the Listener Participation & Submission Terms.

For example, permission to share a submission on the radio does not automatically mean permission has been given to publish it on social media.

4. How We Use Information

Information submitted through the website may be used to operate The Wells, communicate with listeners, review listener submissions, prepare selected material for the program, honor the sharing and identification preferences selected by the person submitting the material, respond to inquiries, maintain website functionality, and protect the integrity and security of the website and program.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

The Wells may share or publish a listener submission when the individual has expressly authorized that type of use.

Depending upon the permissions selected, an authorized submission may appear on The Wells of Love with Kit radio program, The Wells of Love website, or The Wells of Love social media platforms.

Information may also be processed by service providers reasonably necessary to operate the website, email, hosting, broadcasting, or related technical services.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or legitimate safety or security requirements.

6. Your Sharing and Identification Choices

When available, listeners may choose how a submission may be shared, including:

Listeners may also be offered identification choices such as:

Full Name • First Name Only • Initials • Anonymous

The Wells will use reasonable efforts to honor the permissions and identification preference associated with a submission.

Selecting Private Only means the submission is not intended for broadcast, website publication, or social-media publication.

7. Private-Only Submissions

Private-only submissions may still be received, stored, and reviewed by authorized individuals responsible for operating The Wells, but they will not be intentionally published or broadcast as listener content.

Private Only should therefore not be interpreted to mean that no authorized person involved in administering The Wells can access the submission.

8. Children and Minors

Website submissions and direct on-air participation are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.

Individuals under age 18 may participate only when The Wells has obtained appropriate permission from a parent or legal guardian. The Wells may require written or electronic parental or guardian consent before permitting participation.

9. Cookies and Website Technology

The website may use technical features necessary for normal website operation, security, functionality, or hosting.

At this time, The Wells does not intentionally sell visitor information for advertising purposes.

However, no website, email system, internet transmission, or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors should therefore avoid submitting information that is unnecessary for their participation.

You may contact The Wells with questions regarding your personal information or to request that an unused listener submission be withdrawn from future consideration.

Where reasonably possible, The Wells will honor an appropriate withdrawal request.

However, material that has already been broadcast, published, distributed, downloaded, archived, syndicated, or independently shared by others may not be completely retrievable.
